This film should equal required as set out of american education; IT reflects society in a brilliant and truthful manner. Though some allege that our club is broken into three sects--the poor, the middle assort, and the rich, this is a organ pipe dream. There is the prison class, the employed class, and the reigning class, WHO much keep power and money within a tightly-locked empyrean of elitism. Lag, the repose of society lives in the prison of poverty or debt, continuing to walk along the brink of starving, homelessness, and demeaning demise--whether consciously aware of information technology or non. This reality of society ripples throughout altogether the americas, from Canada, down to Chile. This piece of cinematic history reflects who we are and where we are headlike, beggary the question in this concerned citizen's mind, 'What is the large terror, corruption or weather?'

This film is important, funny, and verisimilar to become a classic.

Let it Be noted that I feel inspired to ascertain a Carrey marathon--specially for the films I have not yet seen.

Ahead of its time

Saw this movie on Xmas 2005, with my sister and her husband, and don't think I have laughed that a lot in my spirit. Unfortunately, in 2008, I was put in the same put down these characters were clear down to merchandising my toaster. As well bad the banksters who created the disaster of 2008, and devastation information technology caused, were rewarded by the highest office in the land instead of punished. No one had to history for where the $3 trillion of our tax dollars was sent, patc Americans like-minded myself had to end up living in their cars. I was an elderly woman and it wiped Maine out completely. Anyhow, I wasn't laughing anymore. I think up maybe I could view this again with a new perspective.

Hilarious and family friendly

I love Jim Carrey, but admittedly a lot of his funny films are non tyke-friendly, pushy the PG13 to the terminus ad quem with language and sexual/adult references. This one was, however, truly GREAT. It was truly hilarious simply offered of import kin-centralised motivations from the characters. There is unitary prospect future in the film where the twain is in their sleeping room and wife says 'let's have it off', but then they both say 'on friday' and go to sleep. IT is a funny scuttlebutt of the reality of married life and is in context of hubby/married woman and is very improvident scene.

There is a assoil bad rib, clear good guys (even though they are doing spoilt things in their desperation). We real enjoyed this film and will definitely watch IT again

Chronicle of corporate avarice and those that get left behind

I was actually disappointed with the first half of the film. Information technology just wasn't funny. Then in the last half IT got a new life and finally started working. I even laughed come out of the closet loud a couple times. The story is about corporate greed and what happens to the workers that get leftfield behind. That leaves Jim Carrey without a caper and he and his married woman Tea Leoni battle as a result. Carrey is his usual goofy person although a bit restrained from many of his former movies. Tea Leoni actually stunned me with her public presentation.

Soundly entertaining flic.

Me and my economise got this for a stay at interior particular date night and watched IT. I had seen it when it first came out and remembered how queer I thought it was and how more I laughed. My hubby however had never seen information technology. So we bought IT on Amazon and watched information technology with Instant Picture.
I still laughed even as hard and so did my conserve. Whatever movie he likes must cost a good one because he ordinarily doesn't like or watch any movies unless they are educational then I was a bit worried with this one. However, this kept us both entertained and laughing direct out the livelong pic.

You need to rent/ buy this movie now and watch IT for a redeeming date night. Jim Carrey does a great job and makes the film so funny and amusing.

This is bu a really funny and relaxing movie. I did sentinel it a few years past, just upon a friend's recommendation, I watched it again. I still love information technology. My married woman and I spend some good quality time with each new and that is priceless :=).

I'm not a "very" picture critic. That aforementioned, I don't have an opinion regarding cinematography or particular effects. I am , however, a Father-God of 4 and married to a great charwoman. Our family loves to watch movies together, it's one of our "things." Finding a quality, family friendly movie is a tax. Fortunately, Fun With Dick and Jane is both! We've enjoyed this for years. I hope that your family will too.

Jim Carrey Farteth Not

The goat jokes anticipated of Judd Apatow and Jim Carrey are absent from "Merriment With Dick and Jane", so if you'Ra looking for them, stick with earlier Carrey movies. The construct of this film - that IT's okay to slip if you're desperate enough - has been artfully denaturized into a good-designed portrait of the challenges of modern life. Dick and Jane really DO get completely screwed non only by other people's infinite greed, but by the partitioning of modern society to allow work and desire. Information technology's impressive how likable Carrey and Tea Leone are in this motion picture, how well and credibly they interact. This is definitely an L.A. tack together, with gags about Latino people riding the dangerous adjoin of racism; but ultimately, it's an amusing journey.
