Hosts were very welcoming and let our son explore the land. Nice little sand pit and play house for him to play in.

Carlingford Sea Cottage offers accommodation in Carlingford, 1.5 km from Carlingford Castle and a 20-minute walk from Centre of Carlingford Town. This holiday home features barbecue facilities and views of the sea and mountains. Property, although small, was very comfortable and modern. It had all the mod cons, definitely home from home. It had a beautiful veranda out there front looking over the water and Mourne mountains. Spectacular views and totally relaxing. Owners were so helpful and if we needed to ask anything they replied immediately. Will definitely return.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a microwave, a dining room overlooking the patio and a lounge with a flat-screen TV and a fireplace. Location was great, right in the centre of town close to all the shops and other amenties. House was nicely decorated and felt very homely. Host was very helpful when we accidentally locked ourselves outside the next day.

Offering a garden and garden view, Village Lodge - Carlingford is situated in Carlingford, 1.5 km from Carlingford Castle and 1.5 km from Holy Trinity Heritage Centre. Boasting free private parking, the holiday home is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking, golfing and fishing. The location was excellent, just a five minute walk to Carlingford town centre, Carlingford lough, the Fokelore park and a children's playground. It was less than a 20 minute drive to Newry. On the way to Newry there is a spectacular walk - the Greenway, stop at Victoria Lock and enjoy the views and walk. The house had everything we needed, and was very comfortable. We were a group of 5 adults and 7 children. There was 5 bedrooms with 4 single and 5 double beds. one bedroom ensuite plus a full bathroom and a separate toilet downstairs. The back garden is large and safe for small children with outdoor seating. The cooking facilities, TV, internet and comfortable space made our family break a lovely experience

We were a party of nine aged 2-82, the property was perfect all being in one floor with lots of space. Elizabeth always quick to reply to emails and Enis a lovely host delighting my grandson with a party bag from her daughters birthday party, and a nice bottle of wine for the adults ! Lovely village with a nice pub and great food at the Golf Club. An all round lovely stay.

There was nothing to dislike,we where met by a lovely lady and she took time to tell us what to do,the room was very clean and huge,a little kitchen the bathroom was clean.tea and biscuits and water in the fridge,i have to give this guesthouse a 10/10

The house is fantastic and very well maintaind...the host is an absolute gentelman, realy made us feel welcome...breafast was lovely....the whole house is very clean.... no.3, the restraunt recommended by the host, was exceptional... will stay again.
